SASSA Payment Dates for April 2023

Stay up to date with the current schedule, SASSA payment dates for April 2023 have been announced.

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is on schedule with the preparations to start paying out social assistance on April 3, 2023.

All clients are urged by SASSA to use the various methods for gaining access to their cash.

Retailers and ATMs are two of the techniques.

The SASSA Gold card is still valid for usage by social grant recipients, and they are able to use it anywhere that accepts bank cards.

The card may also be used at establishments around the country that provide the cashback feature, such as Shoprite, Checkers, U-save, Pick ‘n Pay, and Boxer.

Elderly funds will be given out first on 02 April 2023, followed by disability grants on April 3rd and all other grants on the 6th April 2023.

For the avoidance of doubt, the payment will be made on the next workday if the second day of the month occurs on a weekend or a holiday.

As the holiday season comes to an end, SASSA also reminds beneficiaries to be wary of false information, crooks, and con artists.

In order to be eligible for the R350 COVID Social Relief of Distress Grant, applicants are urged by SASSA to regularly review and update their online banking information.
